Snowed In on the Farm ❄️ Cozy Recipes & Winter Favorites

Hey Reader!

This week has felt like true winter on the farm. We are still completely buried in snow and the daily temperatures have been hovering around 17 degrees. Theron and the boys have been managing everything outside, and it has definitely been tough. Frozen latches, doors and gates that will not open all the way because of deep snow, and the constant cold make even the simplest chores take twice as long.

But the funny thing is, regardless of me griping on the way out, the animals are not fazed at all. They still come running, excited to see you, ready for feed time like nothing in the world is different. That part never gets old. It warms my heart, puts a smile on my face, and honestly makes all the hard parts worth it.

We are down to just one kid for the weekend, and you would think the house would feel quiet, but you haven't met Maddox. He is our youngest and full of personality, so it is definitely not silent around here! Thankfully he keeps us entertained and laughing.

I wanted to share a few favorites with you this week that have been on constant rotation in our kitchen and home:

Sourdough Lemon Quick Bread (With Simple Lemon Glaze)
This one is always on request and perfect when you need something bright and comforting.

Peanut Butter with Chocolate Sourdough Bread
A cozy twist that feels like dessert but works just as well with a cup of coffee.

Perfect Sourdough Sandwich Bread
We make this almost every single week and it never disappoints.

DIY Foot Scrub With Tallow (Natural Sugar Scrub for Soft Skin)
This one is especially good right now for cracked winter heels and dry skin.

If you try any of these recipes, I would love to see them. Tag me on Instagram so I can share your creations!

Hope you are staying warm wherever you are, and finding a little comfort in good food and simple routines.

Until next time,

Stephanie
